Sociology Major

Bachelor of Arts (BA). Students wishing to obtain a BA degree in Sociology are required to take fourteen courses in the Department, including six required Sociology courses, four Sociology electives at the 200-level, two Sociology electives at the 300/400-level, one Sociology elective at the 500-level, and an experiential education course or internship. BA in Sociology students must also fulfill the university's core curriculum requirements, including a foreign language.

Bachelor of Sciences (BS). Students wishing to obtain a BS degree in Sociology are required to take seventeen courses in the Department, including six required Sociology courses, four Sociology electives at the 200-level, four Sociology electives at the 300/400-level, two Sociology electives at the 500-level, and an experiential education course or internship. BS in Sociology students must also fulfill the university's core curriculum requirement.
